We build, ship,
and operate software.
Altivorum is a private technology studio working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, automation, and real-world productivity. We design, build, and run a portfolio of focused products — with the patience to do each one well.
/ælˈtɪv.oʊ.rəm/
From Latin altus — high, careful, considered.
We chose a Latin name because the discipline it points to is older than software: build carefully, choose your work, hold a standard. Fashions in technology change every few years. What remains is the craft, the product, and the people who shipped it.
For people who work
with audio every day.
SozAI is our transcription platform. Psychologists use it to document sessions. Lawyers, to work through depositions. Journalists, to process interviews. Content creators, to turn recordings into written work.
Multi-language, speaker-aware, exports to wherever you need the text to end up.
How we operate.
Own the work.
Altivorum is founder-owned and independently held. We ship what we believe in and keep it running as long as it is useful.
Small, useful, alive.
Each product earns its own users. We stay small enough to look after everything we ship.
Edit before adding.
A feature you remove is worth two you ship. A page you cut is worth ten you write. We prefer sharper over bigger, every time.
Real problems, real people.
Our users are psychologists, lawyers, journalists, collectors, travellers, drinkers of wine. Software should make their work and time easier, not louder.
AI as a tool, not a thesis.
We use machine learning where it removes friction. What matters is whether the product works — not which techniques are inside it.
Decades, not quarters.
Software is a long conversation with its users. What we ship this year should still be useful years from now — looked after, quietly improved, and kept in service.
